Here's what the integration means for prop traders, what you need before you connect, and how to get set up. ## What TradingView integration means for prop traders TradingView integration lets you place trades on your NinjaTrader Prop account directly from TradingView's charting interface, without switching between platforms mid-session. Whichever firm holds your account, the same TradingView setup goes with you. ## What you need before you connect TradingView access for a NinjaTrader Prop account is managed by the trader's prop firm rather than a separate paid subscription; traders should confirm enablement directly with their firm before connecting. Have these three things ready before you start: - **An active funded or evaluation account with a prop firm that runs on NinjaTrader Prop:** Firms outside that network can't be connected, no matter how the request is worded. - **TradingView access turned on for that account:** Your firm controls this switch, not NinjaTrader, so confirm it before you try to connect rather than troubleshoot a failed login after the fact. - **Your prop firm-issued credentials on hand—the same ones you already use to trade:** TradingView asks for these directly, not a separate TradingView username. **What it means:** Prop and evaluation accounts get TradingView access as part of the firm's plan, at no extra cost. Confirm TradingView access with your firm, then you're ready to connect. ## How to connect your prop account to TradingView > To connect a prop account to TradingView, traders log in to TradingView, click Trade, select NinjaTrader, choose Demo, and log in with their prop firm-issued credentials. 1. Log in to TradingView with your TradingView username and password. 2. Click the **Trade** button at the top-right of the screen and select **NinjaTrader** from the list of supported brokers. 3. At the account type screen, select **Demo** (prop and evaluation accounts connect via Demo trading on TradingView, regardless of your funded or evaluation status), then select **Connect**. 4. Enter your prop firm-issued username and password to confirm the connection. The connection succeeds when TradingView displays your account details and trading stats, confirming your prop account is live and ready to trade from its charts.
